Attention, trail runners! Come with us on a group trail running adventure on the traditional lands of the Djab Wurrung, Jardwardjali Peoples. in the stunning Gariwerd – Grampians National Park. The Gariwerd Traditional Owners and represented by Barengi Gadjin Land Council Aboriginal Corporation (BGLC), Eastern Maar Aboriginal Corporation (EMAC) and Gunditj Mirring Traditional Owners Aboriginal Corporation (GMTOAC). The iconic Grampians 160km 8000m Peaks Trail stretches from Mt Zero in the north to Dunkeld in the south. Our point to point traverse will take a total of 6 days across 3 weekends, driving up Friday evening, running Saturday and Sunday before driving back Sunday evening. Each run will start from the previous days finish point with our bus dropping us at our run start or shuttling you back to your car/group accommodation after the days run. This product is for day 3 and day 4 of 6. This tour is tailor-made for avid runners seeking a thrilling and challenging experience amidst the breathtaking beauty of the Grampians National Park. - Day 1: 17km 600m Mt Zero to Roses Gap Rd – Saturday 14/10/23
- Day 2: 36km 1400m Roses Gap rd to Halls Gap – Sunday 15/10/23
- Day 3: 9km/22km 1000m Halls Gap to Borough Huts – Saturday 28/10/23
- Day 4: 14km/35km 2000m Borough Huts to Jimmy Creek – Sunday 29/10/23
- Day 5: 12km/25km 2000m Jimmy Creek to Griffin Fireline – Saturday 11/11/23
- Day 6: 23km/33km 900m Griffin Fireline to Dunkeld – Sunday 12/11/23
We will be heading up Friday evening 6:00pm. We will grab dinner on the way before arriving at our comfortable in town Halls Gap accommodation at approximately 9:30pm. A short walk from our accommodation is the bakery and cafes (hours 7:00am – 5:00pm) and the supermarket (hours 8:00am-8:00pm). Before each run we will have time to visit the bakery and cafe for breakfast, coffee and packed lunch options. After the Saturday run our bus will drop us back in Halls Gap. We will have a chance to get cleaned up and head out for an optional dinner at the The Paper Scissors Rock Brew Co. After Sundays run we will jump in the bus and head back to Melbourne, grabbing takeaway food along the way.

Friday 27/10/23: 6:00pm – 9:30pm Travel from St Kilda rd to Halls Gap
Bus pick up at 6:00pm from the tourist bus bays on St Kilda rd opposite Hamer Hall and the State Theatre. Free weekend parking is available on Birdwood avenue around The Tan and along Sturt and Wells streets in Southbank. It is a 5 minute walk to the bus pick up point. We will stop for toilets, coffee and food on our way there and back.

The bus will be leaving 7:30am from the Halls Gap Bakery, Grampians Rd, Halls Gap VIC 3381 for a 8:00am run start from Borough Huts Campground Grampians Rd, Bellfield VIC 3381.
We strongly recommend having air ambulance cover for this run and all trail runs, due to costs and difficult of access in the remote terrains.
