School has never looked so good. On this tour our guides (including a qualified trainer and assessor) will take you on a trail running technique tour of Werribee Gorge State Park. This is an excellent tour for first time trail runners or those looking to refine their trail running skills. Our tour includes stations where our guides (qualified run coaches) will run through practical trail technique drills to increase your skills, boost your confidence and having you running trails like a demon. These drills include; climbing and descending, turning, flow and picking a line, speed control and hiking pole use. Our guides will also share their knowledge on trail safety and planning, gear advice, tech options, packing for a trail run and answer any of your questions throughout the day.
The post purchase tour documents will include a session plan with video links covering the topics from the tour.
This tour follows the winding Werribee River along the Gorge’s harsh cut cliff faces. This tour has scenic viewpoints over the Gorge and river before dropping down the ridge to follow the technical trails and sometime rock scrambles of the river trail and old irrigation water channel.
Our Werribee Gorge Circuit is a 11km , 321m Elevation circuit run. With breaks and training stations this run should take approximately 4 1/2 hrs to complete.
Starting and finishing at the Meikles Point Picnic Area (drop toilets available here) at the bottom of Myers rd, Our tour takes in:

- Falcon’s Lookout
- Lionhead Beach
- Wire rope scramble
We have something for everyone on this run which will be lead by our experienced trail running, fun loving tour guides.
Our bus will stop en-route for coffee, food and a toilet break.

For those purchasing a Trail bus ticket. The bus will leave 6:30am from the main entrance to the NGV on St Kilda Rd. Please make sure you add the Bus transfer product to your cart.
We strongly recommend having air ambulance cover for this run and all trail runs, due to costs and difficult of access in the remote terrains.
