Werribee Gorge Trail School

School has never looked so good. On this tour our guides (including a qualified trainer and assessor) will take you on a trail running technique tour of Werribee Gorge State Park. This is an excellent tour for first time trail runners or those looking to refine their trail running skills. Our tour includes stations where our guides will run through practical trail technique drills to increase your skills, boost your confidence and having you running trails like a demon. These drills include; climbing and descending, turning, flow and picking a line, speed control and hiking pole use. Our guides will also share their knowledge on trail safety and planning, gear advice, tech options, packing for a trail run and answer any of your questions throughout the day.

This tour follows the winding Werribee River along the Gorge’s harsh cut cliff faces. This tour has scenic viewpoints over the Gorge and river before dropping down the ridge to follow the technical trails and sometime rock scrambles of the river trail and old irrigation water channel.
