Get ready for a massive trail running multi day adventure as we explore the incredible coastal trails of Wilsons Promontory National Park. Don’t let the coastal location fool you, there is so much more in the way of diverse landscapes and engaging trail types. The Prom has thick eucalypt forests, mountains to summit, temperate rainforest gullies and some cracking open plain grasslands. The differing landscapes make The Prom a trail runners dream.
All you need for this 4 day trail running adventure is your running gear, chill out clothes, toiletries, a towel. Then jump on the bus at our city meet up location or arrange an enroute pick up.
Our home base will be 45 minutes out of Wilson’s Promontory in our shared house accommodation, or you can sort your own accommodation and meet us at our run start points. Our Trail Bus will be shuttling our team to and from our daily start and finish points. We will see the bus along the way as it meets us for lunches, snacks, cold drinks and good vibes at our support locations and flexible short course options (Day 1 25km/15km. Day 2 20km/13km/10km. Day 3 25km/13km. Day 4 37km ). Feel free to leave your in run lunches and drinks in the bus fridge.
We’ve allowed time for daily pre-run bakery visits to grab coffee, breakfast and in run lunches. For dinners we will call into the local takeaway, supermarket and bottle shop to pick up something to bring back to our accommodation. You are welcome to bring your own food and cook up at our accommodation.
