Get ready for a massive trail running multi day adventure as we motor our Trail hunting houseboat around Lake Eildon running incredible trails, eating & drinking, relaxing and checking out the breathtaking views. There is so much to explore out here and the differing landscapes are a trail runners dream.

All you need to bring is your running gear, chill out clothes, toiletries, a towel and jump on the bus at our city meet up location or arrange an enroute pick up for a 6 day adventure on the stunning and expansive Lake Eildon.

The trails on this tour are some of the most challenging we have on our schedule. Although they are shorter than usual, the elevation and terrain provide for a great challenge before reaching the tops of our climbs and the expansive views of Eildon National park and the Alpine region. Most of our trail heads are only accessible by boat. Our trail boat will drop us off and pick us up from our runs before mooring safely for the night, eating and drinking, resting and recovering in preparation for our next days runs. You don’t need to run every day and there is always the options to just chill on the boat’s upper level sun deck.

City bus transfers are included, accommodation options are meet out/shared/own room and your on boat meals are provided with all dinners prepared for you.

The boat will be stocked with snacks including; fresh fruit, lollies, juices, pastries, cold coke and water, chips and tea and coffee. Continental breakfasts, wraps, rolls and sandwiches are all available for lunches.

Our meet out options include a pick up by our support boat in the morning to whisk you out to our run start and return you after the run.

Some of the attractions we will take in are:

  • Summit Mt Enterprise at 680m
  • Expansive views from Blowhard lookout
  • Views of the Alpine Region from the Enterprise Block
  • Longest single span transmission lines in the Southern Hemisphere (2km)
  • Elevated lakeside single trails
  • Spur track running with expansive lookouts across the lake

The tour total amount of tour distance and elevation across the 4 days of running is 70km and 4400m of elevation gain. The runs are short, steep and technical. They pack a punch so bring your hiking poles.
