Description
Come with us on a private, guided hiking adventure through the Hepburn Regional Park on Dja Dja Wurrung Country. We start in Daylesford and head out to explore the beautiful surroundings of Hepburn Regional Park. The area is a real natural treasure with picturesque waterfalls, spectacular views, natural springs and historic relics from the Gold Rush era.
Common birds to spot in the area include White-Browed Scrub Wrens, Grey Currawongs, Crimson Rosellas, White-Throated Tree-Creepers and Yellow Robins. The Rufous Fantail and Satin Flycatcher visit the gullies seasonally. Koalas and kangaroos are often sighted in the park while the rare Brush-Tailed Phascogale is a shy resident and seldom seen.
The trail is mainly hard packed single trails with a few management access tracks and 4wd tracks providing some sensational variety to take in the beautiful surrounding forests. This tour is jam packed with landmarks and attractions.
Our 15km Lake to Lake tour will take in Lake Daylesford, Central Spring, Sutton Spring, Three Lost Children Walk, Sailors Creek, Sailors Falls, Sailors Spring, Wombat State Forest, Jubilee Lake, Wombat Creek and a couple of cheeky Peacocks.Â
Our tour distance is 15km starting from Lake Daylesford and finishing at Jubilee Lake.Â
